Originally a raw, visceral blues-rock outfit inspired by the likes of such juke joint rockers as , the Black Keys have expanded their purview after mastering their garagey roar with Rubber Factory in 2004. Making the leap to the major-label , the duo of guitarist/vocalist and drummer Patrick Carney dove into heady psychedelic territory, sometimes assisted by producer . The band's collaborations with the adventurous hip-hop producer opened the doors to a variety of sounds, colors, and textures, a broadened palette they'd channel onto sharp songs on their platinum-selling albums Brothers and El Camino, both arriving in the early years of the 2000s. After the trippy 2014 album Turn Blue, the Black Keys took an extended hiatus through the back half of the 2010s, during which time set up his Easy Eye Sound studio and label.

Born and raised in Detroit as the youngest of 10 siblings, Jack White's utilitarian approach filters through all his work, from self-producing his own music to the Third Man empire he founded, to his upholstery and various other art and design pursuits. Over a quarter century into his professional musical career, White's ability to weave relevant, compelling, and poignant artistry to his music leaves him unparalleled. When the White Stripes started in 1997, no one, least of all White, ever expected that a red, white and black two -piece band would take hold in the mainstream world. The release of Elephant in 2003 not only cemented the band's reputation but also offered the #1 hit single 'Seven Nation Army', which has since been appropriated as arguably the most popular chant in sports stadiums around the world. On November 8, 2025, The White Stripes were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Houndmouth is an American rock band from New Albany, In 2026, the band returns with Lordy, a stripped-back, emotionally direct record that marks a new chapter for frontman Matt Myers. After a period of creative stagnation shaped by major life changes, Myers reconnected with his songwriting through raw, unfiltered expression, largely writing alone for the first time. The result is an intimate, roots-driven album focused on rebuilding, acceptance, and forward motion. Supported by producer Brad Cook and a close-knit group of collaborators, the band continues its evolution while retaining the melodic instincts and Americana foundation that first defined its sound.

The story of Slightly Stoopid, at its core, is one of brotherhood. It's the story of Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, two musicians determined to succeed on their own terms, creating a multi-genre fusion of rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk. It's the story of a duo that has not just survived, but thrived, as 'brothers from other mothers'- true to their authenticity, through two decades of relentless touring, and evolving songwriting, repeatedly creating lasting artistic statements despite a music industry that too often prioritizes style over substance.
