Savanna Ruth is the new musical chapter of Chicago-based singer-songwriter Savanna Dickhut, formerly known for her work under the alias Burr Oak. Blending indie rock, confessional songwriting, and an undeniable melodic sensibility, Savanna Ruth creates songs that feel intimate, restless, and deeply lived-in. Her forthcoming album, The Baseball Diaries, marks both a reintroduction and a turning point. Written in the aftermath of a major breakup and during a period of emotional and personal exploration, the record turns inward, tracing the complexities of desire, autonomy, attachment, and learning how to love without possession. Julian Saunders is a Chicago-based indie-folk singer-songwriter and musician originally from the Metro Detroit area. He is known for his debut album "Two Geese" and blends indie folk with alternative country inspired by artists like Elliott Smith and Nick Drake. Chan Fuze is an emerging Chicago artist known for his innovative blend of Alternative Rock and R&B. Through emotive vocals, intricate guitar work, and soulful songwriting, his music explores the highs and lows of life with a fresh, distinctive sound. With performances on NBC’s The Voice and WGN Chicago, Chan has gained growing attention and built an audience drawn to his versatility. When Ruby Rae closes her clandestine cabaret for a few days and heads off to Omaha for the weekend, her cats Whiskie and Scotch have other plans. In the grand tradition of those legendary ’80s and ’90s parties thrown while parents were out of town, the cats secretly open the doors to the neighborhood for an evening of purr-anormal activity. The Hissy Kits return to Color Club Tavern with piano, the mysterious ghostly sounds of the theremin, Scotch’s velvety vocals, Whiskie’s hair-raising yowls, eerie originals, playful songs filled with cat antics, immersive mischief, vintage favorites, and even some suitably dark opera from such celebrated de-composers as Purr-cell; all presented through their signature genre of Feline Expressionism®. Diaspora Duos is back! Join BIYA BIYA at Color Club for a lively music series where artists from different cultures are commissioned to collaborate together! Steeped in diverse traditions, each specially curated Duo will present a world premiere set that showcases the two performers’ cultural roots. Featured Duos: A native of Taiwan, Tzu-Tsen Wu (recipient of "Best Asian Entertainer" of The 42th Chicago Music Award) is a Chicago based plucked-string multi-instrumentalist specializing in Zhong Ruan (中阮) and world music. She’s a voting member of Recording Academy focusing on bridging cultural understanding through music. Melissa DuPrey is an Award-winning AfroLatina multidisciplinary artist from Chicago's Humboldt Park community. She has 5 critically-acclaimed solo shows and one full-length play. She is an Artistic Collective member of Teatro Vista. As a musician and active member of her community, she is dedicated to the preservation of Puerto Rican culture by way of the folkloric music, Bomba y Plena, with Africaribe and Segundo Ruiz Cultural Center. As a lifelong student of Indian Classical Music, Neeraja Abhyankar loves to sing semi-classical, folk, Sufi, and Marathi songs while dabbling in Acapella. Vita E. exists as a mixture of various musical styles, personified through her lens as a Non-Binary Black Trans Woman in the United States. Noah Ginex Loud, creative, and colorful, you may know Mucca Pazza from their sweaty late night club shows, Logan Square's Halloween Parade, or popping up all over Chicagoland (from the Obama Presidential Center to the Chicago River Show). We get it, you partied til 2 AM with us in 2015! You used to be edgy, but times have changed. Grandma booked a tractor ride for the kids--at 9 AM way out in the country! That’s why they're throwing a killer Halloween rock show for the whole family. (Or Chosen Family, for you grandma-core young adults). Since 2022, Mucca Pazza has called Irving Park home. They want to celebrate at Color Club, where you can be a weirdo at all ages and all hours! DadJoke is the children's music project of Dave Reminick, singer/guitarist of Chicago post-punk band Paper Mice. He writes weird music for weird kids — fun, ridiculous, overengineered songs about ducks, the sounds dinosaurs probably didn't make (but for some reason he thinks they did), and, it goes without saying, the very real danger of a giant rubber horse falling on your head. Fun Intended, the first DadJoke album, came out in June, and it's built for grownups as much as kids — full of off-kilter rhythms, key changes nobody asked for, and jokes that land for everybody. Indie Dock Music Blog called it "one of the most purely enjoyable albums released in 2026. Noah Ginex is an award-winning puppeteer and human being. You may recognize Noah from his memorable appearances on WGN News. Soon, you'll also recognize Noah from his equally memorable appearance as emcee of this show. Drag performances by Tilda Watersclear (Boston), Papa Squat (Chicago) Featuring emcee Anita Bagel w/ the Tritone Subs Brass Band Bios: Tilda Watersclear (she/her) is Boston's Trombonafide Legend & America's Sweetest Diabetic. Papa Squat (they/he/it) is a multidisciplinary performance artist, drag personality, & musician with a passion for the subversive. Led by Walter Sanchez, the Tritone Subs Brass Band represents alumni of the Blackhawks Band, Fly Honeys Show, and Chicago Theatre Softball League. Performing everything from Chappell Roan to Trombone Shorty, they represent some of Chicago's busiest musicians and best infielders. Presented by Color Club.

Mark Solotroff’s music and artwork explore urban landscapes, navigation through city environments, and human connection in an age of digital fragmentation. Alongside diverse collaborations with acts like Wrekmeister Harmonies, The Body, Indian, Consumer Electronics, and Brutal Truth, Solotroff is celebrating the release of A Diagnosis of Distance, a bass-heavy solo analog synth record which serves as an unsettling, immersive soundtrack for navigating emotional territories and metropolitan terrain. Mortido is the morose death ambient project from Chicago artist Omar Gonzalez (Civil Siege, Machismo, No Dreams, Rectal Hygienics, etc.). Recorded between 2022 and 2023, Mortido’s self-titled debut album synthesizes dark ambient isolation and heavy industrial soundscapes into immersive, cinematic textures. Exhumed Corpse is bleak/dark industrial sound constructed from minimal bass synths, audio test lab equipment, and tapes. Uncomfortably slow and low bass frequencies wave in and out of the audible spectrum alongside distant rhythmic metal clangs, bangs, and steam hisses. Rumors of power amps and subwoofers catching fire are true. For fans of NOTHING. Black Triangle Badge draws from audio sources both mutated and direct. His sonic palette is as unpredictable and eclectic as the nighttime city streets themselves, crafting soundtracks of unease that reflect a world increasingly plagued by fascism, ignorance, and toxic hate. Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers make punk rock music for adult theatre kids, inspired by pop punk, classic rock, modern sad girls and alt country. Raised on the east coast but based in east Nashville, this fully independent and DIY band records all their music in their backyard barn-turned studio, infusing elements of grunge and country songwriting into their viscerally honest, diary entry songs about things that matter to them; love, justice, community, introspection and radical acceptance.
