jommis has been making music in Chicago for 10+ years now. From the essential foundation built in supreme regime and Beach Jesus, to the industrial project “natural state” and the pop samplings of spike carter, Jommis has blended genre with collaboration and performance. In his solo debut 'cakemix' all of that is on full display. The songwriter is in his element with complete control and explores universal experiences/feelings effortlessly. 2024 has seen jommis take his performance to new heights and tour all of the major venues in the city; each show reminding you of who he really is at his core. Chicago-based songwriter Ari Lindo returns with a forthcoming sophomore album that further defines their evolving sound. Rooted in the intimacy of folk songwriting, Lindo blends harmonic depth and layered rhythm with influences from indie rock, Brazilian music, and Chicago’s DIY and jazz-rooted scene. Their work pairs melodic storytelling with textured arrangements, creating a sound that feels both grounded and expansive. More personal and sonically bold, the new album leans into a distinctly more rock-forward direction while continuing Lindo’s exploration of movement, atmosphere, and emotional depth—capturing an artist refining and expanding their sonic world. HOTDOG HOTDOG is a fully-loaded 4D experience where you can see, taste, smell, and hear the humble Chicago-style hot dog in glorious, ridiculous excess. Digitally rendered dogs (created by slinging real glizzies at high-speed cinema cameras) collide with live performances by Chicago's best musicians and comedians. Each act remixes the visuals in real time, turning every bite and beat into a one-of-a-kind sensory feast. DJ Nate Lavar Born and raised in the Western Suburbs of Illinois, Nathan Lavar Jackson's interest of music started with a “Wii DJ Hero” game given to him by his uncle when he was 8 years old. Nate’s quick mastery of the game naturally led to a mastery of real life DJ skills. His ability to mix and mash tracks spanning all genres with Chicago-style flair is second to none, and will certainly have the entire crowd bumping. Pleasantries Although they claim to be entirely human, Pleasantries’s music is at times as dark as Satan or as lovely as a chorus of angels. Animated videos, boundless guitar shredding, and an effortless fusion of indie rock, symphonic instrumentals, and synthwave grooves meet influences like Jack Stauber, Bill Wurtz and Tally Hall. Mila La Morena Where culture meets creativity, Mila La Morena creates a world where voice, movement, visuals, and story collide. A queer, eclectic alternative artist shaped by both Chicago and Mexico City, Mila’s music lives in the in-between, blending angst-driven pop and punk energy with Spanglish lyricism, emotional vulnerability, and raw edge. Her sound is restless and expressive, channeling identity, longing, and defiance into songs that feel both intimate and explosive. Presented by Color Club.

Formed in the foothills of Northern Colorado, Al Woodchek and Cor Wright of Frail Talk are creating a blooming universe of squiggly indie music for squiggly people. Like the kind surprise of a backyard garden, their songs spring up from the dirt with folk roots, soft pop colors, and burgeoning lyricism ready to welcome every listener with daydream-love. Through the art of mashing folk-pop sensibilities with strange-space-synthetic-sounds, Frail Talk offers a landscape where one’s self, surrounding, and experiences are as much a part of the songs as the music itself. The future is bright for Frail Talk. It’s all love now. Moriah Bailey (fka sun riah) is an Oklahoma-based songwriter who creates intimate and vulnerable sound worlds using primarily harp, voice, and effects pedals. Paste Magazine has described Bailey’s music as showcasing “masterful minimalism,” and Bailey's sound is often compared to Bjork, Agnes Obel, Joanna Newsom, and JFDR. On this tour, she will be joined by a phenomenal ensemble of musicians (violin, drums, and bass). Her songs are delicate and defiant, tender and strong, and they provide space to dwell on and sit with emotions. Yomí, a Chicago-based harpist and singer, has dedicated the last decade to perfecting her unique sound—a captivating fusion of traditional harp melodies with contemporary elements. Through her innovative use of live harp loops, she creates intricate soundscapes designed to unlock and liberate the hidden aspects of our inner selves. As a resident artist at Bonnaroo Music Festival for three consecutive years, Yomí has experienced firsthand the transformative power of music as a healing force. Whether performing in a cozy bar on a Wednesday night or commanding a festival stage on a Sunday morning, her harp becomes an instrument of connection and love, reaching out to touch the hearts of her audience.
