ELIJAH EMANUEL Elijah Emanuel is a bilingual Panamanian roots reggae artist, singer-songwriter, and producer known for fronting Elijah Emanuel and the Revelations . This nationally touring quartet commands the stage with elements of classic rock, psychedelic funk, and indie-jam fusion for an experience like no other. Shimmering 4 part harmonies, improvisational virtuosity, and a passion for well crafted songs set this group apart in their scene. The band is releasing a highly anticipated Full Length record in 2026. They have opened for acts such as George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Eggy, Big Something, Spafford and many more. FLAT SUN SOCIETY The band was formed in Big Sur from a residency vocalist Jake Padorr held during the pandemic at the historic outdoor venue, the Henry Miller Library. This space allowed the band to explore their improvisational sound in front of unassuming Big Sur passersby attending the Library. Jake Padorr's cabin in Big Sur provided the space for their first recordings. The Flat Sun sound has now spread through Santa Cruz, the home area of the rest of the band. Flat Sun Society creates a sonic space for full expression of their audience members; you will catch unique, ecstatic dancing from the audience at any given show. The band has played additional unique and special venues such as the Esalen Institute in Big Sur this year and Burning Man in 2021. Flat Sun Society finds a new niche of psychedelic rock that integrates polyrhythms, ethereal vocals and improvisation. The band is comprised of six friends from Big Sur and Santa Cruz who share a love for creating an immersive experience of sound. Their songs can become a journey full of momentous energy and fantastical moments. Flat Sun has garnered a grass-roots local following in the Santa Cruz area, consistently playing community pop-up concerts in the redwood forests and often at Lighthouse Point on West Cliff in Santa Cruz. Dusk Dept. is a seven-piece collective emerging from the deep corners of the modern funk underground…a shadowy convergence of musicians whose fingerprints can be found on the grooves of Ghost-Note, Dumpstaphunk, Snarky Puppy, Daryl Johns, and other heavy hitters in the lineage of rhythm. Formed under the dim hum of late-night sessions and unmarked studio doors, Dusk Dept. keeps its members hidden beneath black hoods, trading ego for atmosphere, and identity for collective pulse. Onstage, the robes blur every boundary: between player and audience, between band and ritual, between now and the fever-dream memory of some after-hours sermon you can’t quite recall. Their debut, a self-titled album arriving in May 2026 on Ear Up Records (founded by Jeff Coffin of the Dave Matthews Band), sounds like the meeting point of the sacred and the filthy; analog funk baptized in mystery. Seven players. Seven voices. One department in charge of the night shift. Dusk Dept. doesn’t announce itself. It appears… a flicker of brass, a pulse of bass, a blur of motion under dim lights. Then it’s gone, leaving behind only sweat, echo, and questions. THE WESTONES The Westones are a new supergroup out of Oakland with a unique blend of heavy soul, R&B and funk, featuring members who have toured with top acts as Dirtwire, Con Brio, Midtown Social, Smoked out Soul, Afrolicious and The Routine. The band was formed in 2024 alongside their weekly residency at Degrees Plato in Oakland, where they crafted their sound and developed a local audience. While the residency has come to an end, the Westones have since recorded their debut EP (to be released soon) at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, and have been featured as direct support for Diggin Dirt at the Mystic Theater in Petaluma and alongside Joe Marcinek and Robert Randolph at the legendary Boom Boom Room in San Francisco. Hot on the festival circuit, they’ve performed the main stage at Golden Road Gathering and will be seen at several others this summer including Same Same But Different and Joshua Tree Music Festival. From the moment he heard Sugar Hill Gang’s 1980 classic “Rapper’s Delight,” the Bay Area Hip Hop luminary knew he’d found his calling. Twenty-five years later, LB has obliterated the stereotypes of what an MC is “supposed to” look like and captured the hearts of countless fans who gravitate to his distinctive voice. He’s now the only Asian-American MC to release 10 studios albums and the first to play major music festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza. From his Quannum Recordings debut with Latyrx,1997’s The Album, to 2003’s seminal solo album Later That Day, he’s consistently pushed the boundaries of his craft. His newest project, Quite A Life, is like the exclamation point on his milestone year. “Ten albums is a lot for any artist, let alone an indie artist who colored outside the lines, so to speak,” LB says. “I'm just appreciative there was always somehow a path for me, no matter how impossible it seemed — either on paper or in practice.” As the first Asian-American to release a greatest hits compilation, he’s pumped out multiple smash singles across four official studio albums . From “Stop Complaining” to “Callin’ Out” and “I Like It, I Love It” and “I Changed My Mind,” his material has always retained a musically eclectic feel. ALWA GORDON Alwa first fell in love with Hip-Hop when he heard Tupac’s “My Ambition as a Rider.” Having received the CD from his older brother, it changed his life forever. Growing up in Santa Cruz CA, a small beach town, Alwa drew from the influences of his childhood, a son to a single mother with a missing dad. He began writing and recording music at just 16. In 2012, through a mixtape called “The 11th Hour.”, Alwa gained major label attention, which led to a studio session with Grammy award winning singer/songwriter “Poo Bear”. After getting an inside look at the music industry, Alwa spent the next 4 years working on his craft, honing his stage performance and live delivery. Drummer Clementine is the founding member of ZEPPARELLA. From the beginning of her musical career, her goal has been to be onstage every night. The pursuit of that goal has led Clementine to constantly tour the US and Europe in projects as diverse as Bottom, AC/DShe, The House Of More, The Solid, Francis Bakin, Stars Turn Me On and Beaux Cheveux The profound musical connection established with Gretchen Menn (guitar), Holly West (bass), and Anna Kristina (vocals) creates the bond required to do this great music justice. It was under the tutelage of classical guitarist Phillip DeFremery, a student of Andrés Segovia, that guitarist Gretchen Menn began her path on the instrument. Playing with tireless passion and constantly seeking out new challenges, her projects are often unconventional, genre-bending expressions combining elements of classical, rock, progressive, jazz, and metal. Bassist Holly West began her musical journey full-steam ahead, and more recently than her stellar playing belies. Her unstoppable will and drive have truly propelled her to this moment and her place in the powerhouse Zepparella. A self-taught bass player, she is also a blossoming vocalist with rich rock pipes. Her time on stage has been well spent, developing an impressive attack, impeccable feel, and a technique which seems to have come completely naturally to her, not to mention her dazzling stage presence and joyful performance style. Singer Anna Kristina is a soulful, fiery, and rocking vocal powerhouse who has stepped into Zepparella’s Plant spot for a second time. Anna was with the band for 5 years, became known for her performance in the band’s 10 million-view “When The Levee Breaks” video, took a 6-year hiatus, and now returns in 2018 to front the band. Her career has spanned acoustic, jazz, soul, rock, and her charisma and power delivers captivating performances every night. About her brilliant harp playing she says: “getting a chance to blow on the harmonica is an added bonus! Plant isn’t just a singer he’s a musician. He brings his blues background and natural percussive feel to his harmonica playing as well and I love getting lost in that.
