Drummer Clementine is the founding member of ZEPPARELLA. From the beginning of her musical career, her goal has been to be onstage every night. The pursuit of that goal has led Clementine to constantly tour the US and Europe in projects as diverse as Bottom, AC/DShe, The House Of More, The Solid, Francis Bakin, Stars Turn Me On and Beaux Cheveux The profound musical connection established with Gretchen Menn (guitar), Holly West (bass), and Anna Kristina (vocals) creates the bond required to do this great music justice. It was under the tutelage of classical guitarist Phillip DeFremery, a student of Andrés Segovia, that guitarist Gretchen Menn began her path on the instrument. Playing with tireless passion and constantly seeking out new challenges, her projects are often unconventional, genre-bending expressions combining elements of classical, rock, progressive, jazz, and metal. Bassist Holly West began her musical journey full-steam ahead, and more recently than her stellar playing belies. Her unstoppable will and drive have truly propelled her to this moment and her place in the powerhouse Zepparella. A self-taught bass player, she is also a blossoming vocalist with rich rock pipes. Her time on stage has been well spent, developing an impressive attack, impeccable feel, and a technique which seems to have come completely naturally to her, not to mention her dazzling stage presence and joyful performance style. Singer Anna Kristina is a soulful, fiery, and rocking vocal powerhouse who has stepped into Zepparella’s Plant spot for a second time. Anna was with the band for 5 years, became known for her performance in the band’s 10 million-view “When The Levee Breaks” video, took a 6-year hiatus, and now returns in 2018 to front the band. Her career has spanned acoustic, jazz, soul, rock, and her charisma and power delivers captivating performances every night. About her brilliant harp playing she says: “getting a chance to blow on the harmonica is an added bonus! Plant isn’t just a singer he’s a musician. He brings his blues background and natural percussive feel to his harmonica playing as well and I love getting lost in that. The Canadian garage punk psych rockers know a thing or two about getting loud and rowdy, and their ear-scorchin’, headbangin’, adrenaline-pumpin’ music rips so hard and fast it’ll feel like you’re being launched clean out of reality. The band’s been givin’r since 2015. What began as a part-time project between Cam Hilborn (vox, songwriter, guitar) and Aurora Evans (drums) got cranked right up to a full-blown international shredfest over the last decade. They’ve quietly become one of the most successful independent rock bands to emerge from Canada in a generation. Wine Lips started out in and around Toronto, expanded to Ontario and Quebec, then knocked out a cheeky international tour in Hong Kong and China in 2018. From there, like their music, they never slowed down. They’ve ripped hundreds of sets all across North America, Europe, and Asia, playing big fat often sold-out shows at some legendary venues. Rounding out the touring trio are two of his most trusted collaborators—Myles Weeks (James Hunter Six, Eric Lindell) on bass and Jim Kolacek (Feufollett) on drums. Blending the gritty, bluesy, folksy, country sounds of his home with the experience of traversing the country and immersing himself in the broad array of cultures across the American landscape, Andrew’s music creates real connection between former strangers through song. On Parlor Greens’ debut LP In Green We Dream , they announced their existence boldly to the welcoming arms of funky instrumental fans around the world. Now, two years later, they’re back to up the ante. Three true masters of their respective crafts: Tim Carman (formerly of GA-20) on drums, Jimmy James (True Loves) on guitar, and Adam Scone (Scone Cash Players, The Sugarman 3) on organ. Seasoned and soulful pros coming together to make infectiously funky instrumental jams. Parlor Greens are truly in top form: tour tight and more confident than ever in who they are and where they’re going. The album’s opener, “Eat Your Greens,” kicks the doors off with a Charles Earland-inspired four on the floor beat, with Jimmy and Scone driving the tune down the tracks like an overloaded freight train, it simply cannot be stopped. On “Red Dog,” the group channels the absolute heaviest shade of early R&B with Jimmy’s crunchy guitar paving the way for both he and Scone to take scorching solos. “Lion’s Mane” shows a slightly more sophisticated side of the trio, with nods to one of Scone’s organ mentors, the incomparable Dr. Lonnie Smith. Shaped by years of troubadouring up and down the I-5—from San Diego dive bars to Seattle clubs—the duo cut their teeth on the folk traditions of Doc & Merle Watson and the haunted poetry of Townes Van Zandt and Blaze Foley. Over time, their songs demanded more than two guitars could carry, and a new chapter emerged. Now joined by Tim Kelso (drums), Andrew Dreher (bass, harmonies), and Payton Vermeesch (pedal steel), The Lowtimers have expanded into a five-piece that stays true to its Americana roots while stretching into new sonic terrain. Their debut album "Cracks" captures this evolution: a collection of songs that are both timeless and timely, carrying the grit of the road and the ache of redemption. RED MCADAM McAdam’s playful outsider country music presents an inventive vision of what the genre can be. His rich, risky blend of traditional honky-tonk and Western swing draws on indie rock, R&B, and beyond, reflecting a lifelong love of all music and disdain for genres and rules of any kind. A consummate road dog, he brings his frenetic, dynamic, and occasionally delirious performances to dives, dancehalls, clubs, and theaters across the country. Listeners will recognize the Lone Star eccentricities of Terry Allen and Guy Clark, forlorn folk sensibilities of Elizabeth Cotton and Karen Dalton, and the driving genre-bending of The Band and Bob Dylan. Over the past several years, he spent time working in National Parks and schools, bars and the backwoods, and most recently between emergency departments and ambulances across the country. After a spell hidden away in his high desert Arizona home, Red hit the road full tilt. In two barnstorming years, he and his band played 37 states over 13 tours, logging 90,000 miles and averaging over 200 shows a year. Red now lives outside of Austin in his 1976 Dodge Jamboree as the newest resident of the storied hill country and absolute greenest in a hallowed lineage of Texas songwriters.
