Hostage Situation

INSTRUMENTS

Denver based electronic music trio Hostage Situation has rapidly emerged as a formidable force in the bass music scene since their formation in 2021. With a distinctive brand centered around "taking the crowd hostage" during their high energy performances, they've successfully built a devoted following through their versatile approach to dubstep and riddim, while also exploring more emotionally driven bass music styles. Their trajectory has been marked by sold out headline shows at iconic venues including The Black Box, Meow Wolf Denver, and The Gothic Theatre. Festival appearances at Global Dance Festival, Supernatural Festival, Decadence NYE Colorado, Forbidden Kingdom, Dancefestopia, and Wakaan have solidified their position as must watch players in the bass music ecosystem. In October 2025, Hostage Situation released their sophomore album Hostile Frequencies, a 20 track opus that represents the culmination of their rapid ascent from local Denver heroes to nationally recognized headliners. The album showcases their versatile approach, seamlessly weaving together heavy hitting dubstep and riddim foundations with emotionally driven elements and bass house explorations. The project features multiple collaborations, demonstrating the trio's ability to work across the bass music community while maintaining their signature sound. Since release, Hostile Frequencies has generated over 457k Spotify streams, contributing to the trio's overall reach of 269k monthly listeners across 151 countries with 2.2M total streams and 105k listening hours. The album's success led to the November 2025 release of the Burn For You remix package, featuring 15 reimagined takes from artists across the bass music scene. The Hostile Frequencies Tour launched in August 2025 and is currently 90% sold out across its two phase routing. Phase 1 saw the trio destroy stages from Columbus to San Francisco throughout fall 2025, while Phase 2 adds 20+ dates extending through March 2026 with stops in Brooklyn, Tampa, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, and Los Angeles. The extensive touring schedule demonstrates their evolution from local heroes to legitimate national headliners. All three members produce and DJ, bringing diverse influences ranging from M83 to Subtronics to Pink Floyd into their collaborative process. This versatility shows in their ability to craft everything from tear out riddim anthems to bass house bangers to vocal driven emotional pieces. The trio records their own vocals on multiple tracks, adding another dimension to their already expansive sonic palette. As part of Denver's thriving bass music ecosystem, Hostage Situation continues to push genre boundaries while cementing their position as one of the most dominant emerging forces on the national circuit.

Willow Avalon

INSTRUMENTS

Originally from Georgia and now based in Nashville, Willow Avalon’s musical journey began with her first word, “Elvis.” Raised by her mother and grandmother in a small Southern town, she grew up playing piano in church and taught herself guitar at age 12, using songwriting as both an escape and a means of self-expression through a life-journey that has been anything but straight-forward. Her much-praised 2025 debut album, Southern Belle Raisin’ Hell, cemented her as one of country music’s most compelling new voices, blending classic country, Americana, and pop influences. She has performed at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, CBS Mornings, and the Grand Ole Opry, as well as festivals like Stagecoach, C2C, CMA, and Lollapalooza, bringing her electrifying presence to global audiences. With a sharp wit and rebellious spirit, she has shared stages with legends and rising stars alike, including Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Zach Bryan, Cage the Elephant, Paul Cauthen, Charles Wesley Godwin, and more. Solidified by sold-out headline tours in North America, Europe, and Australia, as well as hundreds of millions of views across social content, Willow Avalon is redefining what it means to be a modern Southern storyteller.
