Inspired by L7, The Dead Milkmen, Bikini Kill, and many other hard-hitting icons, Froggy delivers a powerful kick of youthful humor, grunge, and classic punk. PLEASURE DEATH Hailing from New York City, PLEASURE DEATH, is a queer heavy grunge duo harnessing power, revenge, and all consuming desire. Informed by RiotGrrrl ethos, their songs exorcise repressed rage born of r*pe culture and queerphobia, with a heavy dose of distortion. Live shows are an invitation to step into your shadow and purge whatever’s killing your pleasure. THE ANGIES Channeling the lean riffs of the Rolling Stones, the swagger of the Stooges, and the confrontational performances of James Chance & the Contortions, the Angies adrenalize the too-often listless musical landscape of today with a double shot of old school rock ‘n’ roll.

Early on, the melodies of classic Nintendo games were etched into his ADHD brain and never seemed to leave. Drawing from a wide array of influences, nelward enjoys the explorative aspect of music creation and is not one to dwell in one sound for too long. He is also known for the colorful and whimsical art direction in his often self-produced videos. In 2017, his first EP “Alive in Screen” established his foundational sound. The subsequent success of the new jack swing / nu metal banger Ghost and bubblegum pop earworm Never Wanna Fall in Love With U established him as a force to be reckoned with in the independent electronic music scene. 2020’s “Eat Your Dreams” EP delved into heavier subject matter while tightening nelward’s knack for catchy songwriting. 2024’s single THE RUNAROUND combines infectious earworms while embracing musical exploration. Nelward is known for his animated live performances, completing a 40+ date tour of North America and Europe with TWRP from 2024-2025. In 2025 the nelward live band was born, representing a distinct chapter in the evolution of his live performance. Nelward represents a growing segment of independent electronic artists who are building significant followings through digital platforms while creating innovative multimedia art experiences.
