Doors: 6:00 PM Show: 7:00 PM The Happy Fits Over the course of ten tumultuous months, The Happy Fits’ world turned upside down in every way imaginable. Rather than let it break their stride, though, the acclaimed indie rockers leaned into the turmoil, transforming all the heartbreak and uncertainty they experienced into their most exhilarating, adventurous, and cathartic record yet. “It feels like a whole new beginning,” says singer/cellist Calvin Langman. “We had to go through a lot of struggle to get here, but the band is stronger and healthier than ever before now, and I couldn’t be more excited about the chapter we’re about to embark on.” Written and recorded amidst an emotional maelstrom that saw one founding member depart the band, another leave tour to get sober, and a third entering an era of self-renaissance, Lovesick is, as its title would suggest, a complicated reckoning with all the joy and pain that comes with opening your heart to the world. The songs are bold and fearless, reveling in the intensity of it all with radical vulnerability, and the performances are similarly, pairing blistering rock and roll energy and addictive pop hooks with sweeping orchestral arrangements and raw, revelatory lyrics. The collection also marks The Happy Fits’ first release with guitarists/vocalists Nico Rose and Raina Mullen, whose fresh perspective, innovative style, and undeniable chemistry with Langman and drummer Luke Davis manage to infuse the band’s sound with the unbridled energy of a debut record. The result is a poignant reflection on loss, grief, and renewal that touches on everything from Fleetwood Mac and ABBA to Arcade Fire and the Cars, an alternately triumphant and devastating meditation on change and growth that consistently reaches for beauty and transcendence, no matter how distant they may seem

His latest recordings with producer Lee Clarke favor indie rock and psychedelic soul. LARS LARS is a singer-songwriter and musician from Philadelphia. Their music is a deeply personal journey through the realms of self-discovery and acceptance. LARS weaves together melodic loops that serve as a backdrop for narratives exploring the intricacies of their experience as a black trans person. Through soulful compositions and genre-defying exploration, they invite listeners into a world where themes of identity, spirituality, and resilience intersect.

Starting the band as teenagers, they’ve written a collection of punchy and melodic tracks depicting the relatable and earnest parts of growing up, from 711 Nachos to ordeals with local creeps. Inspired by L7, The Dead Milkmen, Bikini Kill, and many other hard-hitting icons, Froggy delivers a powerful kick of youthful humor, grunge, and classic punk. PLEASURE DEATH Hailing from New York City, PLEASURE DEATH, is a queer heavy grunge duo harnessing power, revenge, and all consuming desire. Informed by RiotGrrrl ethos, their songs exorcise repressed rage born of r*pe culture and queerphobia, with a heavy dose of distortion. Live shows are an invitation to step into your shadow and purge whatever’s killing your pleasure. THE ANGIES Channeling the lean riffs of the Rolling Stones, the swagger of the Stooges, and the confrontational performances of James Chance & the Contortions, the Angies adrenalize the too-often listless musical landscape of today with a double shot of old school rock ‘n’ roll.
