DJ HEARTSTRING headlines The Ruins alongside Effy on July 24. The Berlin duo are responsible for some of the most immaculate trance tearjerkers of our modern era. Their own cheekily-branded Trance Dance Music genre (TDM, for short) brings together the full sugar rush euphoria that made trance a global industry at the end of the '90s, while fusing it with a modern pop sensibility. They take the reigns as the sun starts to drop in the sky. They're joined by a special lineup that matches their signature energy. UK phenom Effy returns, bringing a potent mixture of rude, junglist mania and soaring moments of pure, unadulterated bliss. She lands on the back of a banner run that includes her standout EP "The Syndicate." Ukrainian techno sorceress Ana B is known for her canny versatility and range. Although she's notorious for her late night sets, Ana B is equally adept with more expansive, lush and grooving dance music. She's an artist with a long history at Knockdown Center, and returns to the venue for this special daytime set. This will be one to remember. Knockdown Center
