When Ruby Rae closes her clandestine cabaret for a few days and heads off to Omaha for the weekend, her cats Whiskie and Scotch have other plans. In the grand tradition of those legendary ’80s and ’90s parties thrown while parents were out of town, the cats secretly open the doors to the neighborhood for an evening of purr-anormal activity. The Hissy Kits return to Color Club Tavern with piano, the mysterious ghostly sounds of the theremin, Scotch’s velvety vocals, Whiskie’s hair-raising yowls, eerie originals, playful songs filled with cat antics, immersive mischief, vintage favorites, and even some suitably dark opera from such celebrated de-composers as Purr-cell; all presented through their signature genre of Feline Expressionism®. Geared toward adults, but all ages are welcome. Presented by Color Club.
