Savanna Ruth celebrates the release of her new album, The Baseball Diaries, with a special hometown show in Chicago. Produced by Scott Lucas (Local H) and Blake Smith (Fig Dish), the record blends raw ’90s-inspired indie rock with intimate, diaristic songwriting about love, heartbreak, growing up, and starting over. Join Savanna Ruth and her band for a night celebrating the album live, front to back. Savanna Ruth is the new musical chapter of Chicago-based singer-songwriter Savanna Dickhut, formerly known for her work under the alias Burr Oak. Blending indie rock, confessional songwriting, and an undeniable melodic sensibility, Savanna Ruth creates songs that feel intimate, restless, and deeply lived-in. Her forthcoming album, The Baseball Diaries, marks both a reintroduction and a turning point. Written in the aftermath of a major breakup and during a period of emotional and personal exploration, the record turns inward, tracing the complexities of desire, autonomy, attachment, and learning how to love without possession. Julian Saunders is a Chicago-based indie-folk singer-songwriter and musician originally from the Metro Detroit area. He is known for his debut album "Two Geese" and blends indie folk with alternative country inspired by artists like Elliott Smith and Nick Drake. Presented by Color Club.
