He hails from a small community in southern Vermont and a family full of musicians and artists. Immersed in music at a young age, Pete was drawn to traditional fingerpicking blues, early folk music, and the energy of the punk rock community. His solo songs draw on diverse sources in the American folk tradition, including Doc Watson, The Reverend Gary Davis, Nick Drake, Robert Johnson, and Townes Van Zandt. Pete Bernhard has three solo releases on his record label Kahn Records. He has toured in Europe, Canada, and the USA in support of his last record "Harmony Ascension and Division." Bernhard's live shows maintain a high energy level, similar to his work with The Devil Makes Three, but with a more intimate and personal touch. His performances often include a mix of original songs and covers, showcasing his versatility as a musician. Overall, Pete Bernhard's solo work is a compelling exploration of personal themes, delivered through a folk lens that resonates with listeners seeking authenticity and emotional connection in music. — Saving Country Music HANNAH MAYREE — Hannah Mayree is a California-based songwriter, banjo player, cultural organizer, and founder of The Black Banjo Reclamation Project, an initiative uplifting the African roots of the banjo and creating space for Black artists to reclaim their connection to the instrument. With a rich, soulful voice and an intuitive command of the banjo, they create soundscapes that bridge past and present—blending African diasporic rhythms, Appalachian textures, and lyrical storytelling. Notable performances include supporting Rhiannon Giddens, and playing beloved festivals and venues such as Hardly Strictly, Sierra Grass, Fathers Day Festival and The Freight and Salvage.
