Parlour Magic is a synthpop project led by musician and media artist Luc Bokor-Smith (b. 1995, New York City). It exists in the murky void between a band and a solo project (think Tame Impala or Japanese Breakfast). Sonically, imagine if Arctic Monkeys decided to make a vintage-sounding synth record, or if Future Islands got really into Italian horror. The project has also been compared to M83, Neon Indian, and MGMT. Lover's Guilt is the solo darkwave and post-punk project of Los Angeles-based artist Brian Vega, who is also the lead singer and guitarist for the post-punk band Fearing. His atmospheric, melancholic sound blends coldwave, gothic, and 80s-inspired atmospheric elements & with special guest Lizard Cohen Presented by Gold-Diggers.
