Join us for an evening of classic horror with a live movie score as SLEEPBOMB plays along to FRANKENSTEIN (1931). SLEEPBOMB is a San Francisco group focused on music for film. Stylistically ranging from psychedelic rock and electronics to drone and post-doom metal, Sleepbomb has been described as a combination of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Neurosis with a little Steve Reich for flavor. Sleepbomb's unique scores provide a transformative take on classic genre films, recontextualizing them for our modern age. https://www.sleepbomb.com/ FRANKENSTEIN (1931): This iconic horror film follows the obsessed scientist Dr. Henry Frankenstein as he attempts to create life by assembling a creature from body parts of the deceased. Aided by his loyal misshapen assistant, Fritz, Frankenstein succeeds in animating his monster, but it escapes into the countryside and begins to wreak havoc. Frankenstein searches for the elusive being and eventually must confront his tormented creation. Show time: 7:30 PM, doors 6:30 PM Tickets: $20 Advance tickets: www.ticketweb.com and The Crepe Place
